He plucks KЕЌga from the deadly, reeking lake and sprints for an exit. Inuyasha struggles through a putrid rain of viscera and boulders toward the reservoir of toxins, finally locating KЕЌga. The evil swirl halts in front of KikyЕЌ revealing Naraku. The malevolent maelstrom rolls down the slope towards her, cracking opening steaming fissures of miasma. Outside, KikyЕЌ watches the mountain erupt, spewing a tornado of evil. Tearfully, Kagome implores Inuyasha to be careful as he vanishes into the darkness. Sensing her distress, Inuyasha entrusts KagomeвЂ™s safety to ShippЕЌ and follows KЕЌga alone. As the mountain collapses around them, ShippЕЌ begs Kagome to abandon KЕЌga, but she canвЂ™t.

Inuyasha and Kagome chase the unconscious KЕЌga as he plunges towards NarakuвЂ™s caustic lake of miasma.
